Male teachers are good role models for boys lives. More male teachers are needed at P.S 156. In 2014 Mayor Bill de Blasio developed the NYC Men Teach Initiative to recruit an additional 1,000 men of color to work in the teaching field over the next three years. The NYC Men Teach Initiative believe that a well supported educator results in a better learning experience for all students. The P.S 156 News Team (#2) interviewed Mr. Williams of P.S 156 for their story.
