HOW TO PREVENT CAREGIVER BURNOUT:
1.) DESTRESS:
A Caregiver’s role is an honorable one but oftentimes it can be very stressful which could lead to caregiver burnout. You need to be healthy and strong and balanced for the loved one you are caring for and learn stress management tools and tips as a useful Caregiver’s survival guide.
2.) PERSONAL TIME:
Often times Caregivers are isolated and overlooked and need valuable personal time to socialize, exercise, engage in positive activities they enjoy or simply getting out to shop. Whatever the activity, an occasional quality “me time”gives them a chance to refuel.
3.) RESOURCES:
To be an empowered and informed Caregiver, is to learn resources that can help you confidently manage and navigate effectively the needs of your loved one the best way possible
