PWEC, (Phenomenal Women Empowerment Connections, LLC), is a social wellness organization that provides social and professional networking and promotional opportunities in various forms to its members.

Studies show that being engaged in positive activities and social relationships create longevity, reducing chances of Alzheimer disease. As Holistic Health Coaches and Yoga Teachers my sister Debra and I both understand this concept and we were inspired to get together with positive like-minded women sharing their energy and light over a good meal.

It all began June 2016 as a luncheon where we edified select women who were positive influences in our lives (including our beloved late mother)  we edified each of them with a flower symbolizing  their name, personality or trait giving them an opportunity to share the essence of who they are not just what they do. The luncheon was entitled Beauty and Wisdom of the Ages. The positive energy felt in that room was phenomenal that at the end we all decided it would be a good idea to get together every three months and it has been like a mini reunion whenever we do ever since. Toward the end of 2016 we founded Phenomenal Women Empowerment Connections LLC.

This past year, PWEC had exclusive social outings for members, our lunches are open to all members and non-members where we edify, share, create positive connections and donate raffles where proceeds go to an organization for women children or young adults. Previous recipients were The Bee Happy Foundation and The Bethany House.

PWEC hosts networking luncheons and wellness conferences to provide care for caregivers

Looking ahead in 2018, PWEC look forward to more community outreach and will be hosting ongoing Wellness Day Workshops for caregivers, giving them a special “me time” to regroup, and restore to help them to be more balanced and healthier caregiver; a very important role we both know very well as caregivers for our Mom when she had her stroke March 2017 and after passing four months later we wanted to put our pain to purpose in helping other caregivers prevent caregiver burnout.

PWEC is hosting a conference on January 27, 2017 and is seeking 10 participants  for the conference. For more information please contact Karen Carter at:
