Ms. Tolbert shared with us her journey to Extreme Hip Hop and her goals for the program:

How did you get involved with HipHop Xtreme?

I got involved with Xtreme Hip Hop  through my cousins, who live in Arizona. They were participating in a class on social media. The very first time that I saw it, I knew that it was something that I would love to bring to my community.

Why do you think it’s important for the class to be offered in Laurelton?

Offering Xtreme Hip Hop classes in Laurelton, Queens is important because it brings a unique and exciting fitness experience to the local community. It’s not just about exercise; it’s about fostering a sense of community while promoting health and wellness.

How did your health and fitness journey begin?

My health and fitness journey began with a personal commitment to living a healthier lifestyle. I realized the importance of staying active and making positive choices for my well-being. Xtreme hip hop became a key part of my fitness routine, and I want to share the benefits I experienced with others in my community.

What are your goals for the Xtreme Hip Hop class?

My goal for Xtreme Hip Hop classes is multifaceted. Firstly, I aim to create a fun and inclusive environment where participants can enjoy the music, the workout, and the sense of camaraderie. Additionally, I want to help individuals achieve their fitness goals, whether it’s weight loss, improved cardiovascular health, or simply staying active and energized. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to the overall health and happiness of the Laurelton community through Xtreme Hip Hop.
