Good tidings, my name is Alexander Ledford and I’m a part of the STEAM program called Divas for Social Justice at the Linden SDA school. We were given the honor to make a community garden and it has a lot of benefits. The Laurelton Community Garden of Resilience will be converted from an abandoned lot in the Laurelton community.
On the way to going to get signatures from the people in the neighborhood , We passed a lot of fast food restaurants. Laurelton is a food swamp because we don’t have a lot of healthy food options. The community garden will give fresh fruit and vegetables. This will help a lot with having healthier options. You can help by giving your signatures. We already have a lot, but we need more.
